MILLE SPORTS APPAREL PARTNERS WITH DANONE FOR ANOTHER DANONE NATIONS CUP

Local athleisure brand, Mille is renowned for its durability and comfort and has further cemented its place as a leader in sports footwear and apparel by supporting Danone Southern Africa in the Danone Nations Cup for yet another consecutive year.

The Danone Nations Cup is the largest youth football tournament for players between the ages of 10 and 12 in the world. Overseen by the South African Schools Football Association (SASFA), the South African leg of the Danone Nations Cup includes more than 2 000 schools from all around the country, and Mille will be proudly kitting out the team from provincial level with sports apparel as well as kit out the team that competes in the World Finals both on and off the field.

As Mille is an avid supporter of living an active lifestyle, the partnership between Mille and Danone is built upon encouraging young individuals to be ambitious, reach for their goals and follow their dreams. The result of the collaboration is an unbelievably strong partnership that offers young South African footballers the opportunity of a lifetime.

Mille is committed to providing unwavering comfort and quality to ensure its wearers are equipped with resilience. The core of the Mille brand believes that it doesn’t matter whether you are just starting out an active lifestyle or maintaining one you’ve had for years. Rather, Mille is committed to encouraging continuous growth and development by remaining at the forefront of sportswear with a go-getter attitude.

Danone Southern Africa has welcomed Mille into the family.  “The partnership is now three years old and has significantly helped the schools that participate in our tournament, many of whom have never had their own kit.   It has been heartwarming to see how this gesture has put smiles on the faces of our youngsters.  It gives them a sense of pride, camaraderie and confidence and we thank Mille for this generous partnership,” said Chantel Ehlers, Communication Specialist, Danone Southern Africa

The Danone Nations Cup is into its 17th year with the World Final to be staged back where it started all those years ago – Paris, France.

South African schools are currently playing their cluster and regional games.  The Northern Cape was the first province to hold their finals with the North West hosting their provincials at the Matlosana Stadium, Klerksdorp on April 23rd.
