The Final 2 Teams Have Qualified for the Sanlam Kay Motsepe Schools Cup National Finals

Mnceba High School from Ntabankulu in the OR Tambo region was crowned the Eastern Cape Sanlam Kay Motsepe Schools Cup Provincial champions this past weekend at the Walter Sizulu University Sports ground in East London they beat Bulelani Secondary from the Chris Hani Region 2 – 0.

All teams in the tournament played excellent football however both Mnceba High School and Bulelani Secondary were a cut above the rest winning all their round robin games to top their respective groups. Both Mnceba High and Bulelani Secondary have qualified to represent their region in the National Finals next week.

There is a lot of money up for grabs in next week finals. The overall winner will walk away with R1 million. While second, third and fourth placed schools will receive R600 000, R500 000 and R400 000 respectively. To make sure that the money is well spent the Sanlam Kay Motsepe Foundation will evaluate what the schools need and will purchase accordingly.
